Die GASW - The German Association for the Study of the Western besteht seit den 1990er Jahren. Sie beschäftigt sich wissenschaftlich und populärwissenschaftlich mit dem WESTERN in all seinen Spielarten. Zu diesem Zweck finden normalerweise regelmässig jährliche wissenschaftliche Tagungen statt, deren Ergebnisse in 'Studies in the Western' veröffentlicht werden.
Der inoffizielle Blog GASW - German Association of the Western online bietet eine offene Plattform für Diskussionen und Informationen zum Thema WESTERN und ist auch für Nichtmitglieder der GASW offen. Beiträge (mit Namensnennung) sind erwünscht und können mir unter der Email westernroman[ad]yahoo.de übermittelt werden. Beiträge in deutscher bzw. in englischer Sprache. *********************************
GASW - The German Association for the Study of the Western exists since the 1990s. It deals scientifically and popularly with the WESTERN in all its varieties. The society usually holds regular annual scientific meetings, the results of which are published in 'Studies in the Western'. The unofficial blog GASW - German Association of the Western online provides an open platform for discussion and information on the subject of WESTERN and is also open to non-members of GASW. Contributions (with attribution) are welcome and can be sent to me at the email westernroman[ad]yahoo.de. Languages for contributions are German or English.
